This study sought to determine the DNA elements and genomic loci bound by the transcription factor PnPf2 in the wheat pathogen Parastagonospora nodorum. PnPf2 and fungal orthologues are important for regulators of virulence on the respective host plants. Through chromatin immunoprecipitation in P. nodorum, the regulatory mechanisms and molecular targets are are better understood.
